MessagingPositioning
Value Proposition
A clear statement of the specific value a product delivers to a particular customer — the benefit that makes it worth buying.
A value proposition is the answer to 'why should I buy this, from you, now?' It is more specific than a tagline and more concise than a positioning statement. A strong value proposition combines: the outcome the customer achieves, the speed or ease with which they achieve it, and the proof that it works. Value propositions are segment-specific — what matters to an enterprise VP of Marketing is different from what matters to a solo PMM. They form the building blocks of messaging frameworks.
